A Taiwanese taekwondo competitor at the Asian Games has been disqualified after extra electronic sensors were found in her socks. 台灣跆拳道選手在亞運會上面因為在襪子裡被發現額外的電子感應器而被判定失去比賽資格
The sensors detect when competitors score points by landing kicks and punches on their opponent's body. 電子感應器是在參賽者踢到對手或是擊中對手身體的時候會自動得分
Additional sensors could make point-scoring easier. 額外的感應器可以讓得分變得更加容易
Yang Shu-chun had been one of the favourites for the gold medal and says she is innocent. A Taiwan official said her disqualification was "unfair". 楊淑君曾經是最有奪金指望的人選，並且她宣稱自己是無辜的。台灣官方則表示她的失格是"不公正"的
Taiwan's top sports body immediately voiced its concern over the ruling. Taiwan's top sports body（不知道怎麼翻譯）在判決出來之後立刻表示其關切
"The technical committee did not allow Taiwan's team a chance to explain before making the decision and we regret the unfair ruling," said the Sports Affairs Council. "裁判團沒有給我們機會解釋就直接判決，我們對此不公正的判決表示失望"行政院體育委員會如是聲明。
The use of such sensors in the fighters' socks was introduced to make judging more transparent. 這種在鬥士們襪子裡的感應器是為了要讓擊中的判定更加的明確清楚。
Judging controversy 判決爭議
Yang Shu-chun was leading by 9-0 against her Vietnamese opponent Thi Hau Vu, when the match was halted. 在比賽終止的那一刻，楊淑君是以9-0的分數遙遙領先越南對手Thi Hau Vu
The fight was for a place in the quarter-finals of the under 49kg (108lb) division. 這場比賽是49公斤以下量級的半複賽
Match officials said her footguards carried unauthorised extra electronic sensors behind the heel. 賽場官方表示楊淑君的腳步護具攜帶了額外的電子感應器在腳踝後面
Ms Yang and her coach protested her innocence and both refused to leave the competition area. 楊淑君和她的教練都提出了抗議並且拒絕離場
Taiwan officials said the equipment had been previously approved. 台灣官方則表示那些裝備都已經事先被檢查並且允許使用了
"The footwear passed the original pre-match checks but during the match, when she was leading 9-0, the officials decided the footwear was unacceptable," said Taiwan team official Tang Hui-ting. "那些護具在賽前的檢查就已經通過檢驗了，不過在比賽的途中，當她9-0領先的時候，大會官方卻突然決定那些護具是不能被接受的"台灣對官方發言湯惠婷如是說。
"This kind of footwear is made by a major company and we have used it before in competition," she said. 她說，"這種護具是由大公司製造，而且在之前的比賽就已經用過了"
The World Taekwondo Federation defended its decision, saying the extra sensors had been removed from Ms Yang's socks before the match, but had been fixed back on. 世界跆拳道聯盟對於他們的判決提出辯護，說額外的感應器在賽前被楊淑君給拿掉，不過之後又放回去了。
It is the first major judging controversy at the Asian Games, which is taking place in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou. 這是亞運第一件重大的判決爭議，發生在中國南部的城市廣州。 --------------------------------------------------------------------
1.Yang Shu-chun is not disqualified because of extra electronic sensors, the problem is that footguards' type is not match what Asian Games is provided.
2.The World Taekwondo Federation's defend is that Yang Shu-chun has "claimed" the footguards is passed the pr-match checks, but after the game was began, the Match officials discover "something is not right"
